Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Partnership Development Specialist to join our team at World Vision Australia.

About the Role

The Community Partnership Development Specialist will play a key role in building and nurturing long-term relationships with Australian churches to support our work.

This is a fast-paced, relational role that requires strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. The successful candidate will have experience working in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in fundraising and church partnerships.

You will be responsible for acquiring and building a portfolio of church partnerships, developing pipeline and fundraising strategies, and delivering presentations to congregations on the work of World Vision.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional networking and entrepreneurial ability. They will also have business development and relationship management experience, as well as demonstrated ability in key stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and build a mature portfolio of church partnerships who support WVA offerings
  • Actively engage churches and prospects to offer opportunities to achieve impact through church partnerships
  • Develop pipeline and fundraising strategies for key programs
  • Deliver presentations to congregations on the work of World Vision
  • Grow WVA's presence and reputation across your state
Requirements
  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or church sector
  • Experience in implementing a strategic vision and developing pipeline for fundraising key programs
  • At least five years of experience in fundraising, with demonstrated success in engaging with church partners for fundraising in not-for-profit organizations
  • Strong understanding of church movements in Australia and around the world
  • Ideal qualifications from formal Bible college study
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional networking and entrepreneurial ability
  • Business development and relationship management experience
Salary

$80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
