Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to produce high-quality technical publications that meet project requirements, including safety and regulatory standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A diploma or formal qualification in Technical Writing or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in technical writing and authoring, with effective communication skills to discuss business requirements with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using authoring software tools and MS applications.
  • A strong understanding of S1000D and experience in producing Maritime Technical Publications is highly desirable.
About the Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time role that offers flexible work arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. You will be part of our Hunter Class Frigate program based in Melbourne, VIC, Adelaide, SA, or Portsmith, QLD.

Clearance Requirements

An Australian Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances. ITAR considerations apply.
