Early Intervention Manager Role OverviewEML is a leading workers compensation and personal injury claims management business that aims to support individuals in their return-to-work journey.Our goal is to foster a culture of ongoing support, ensuring that employees have access to the resources they need to succeed.The Early Intervention Manager will play a crucial role in providing proactive, high-quality early intervention to injured workers and employers.This involves conducting community-based visits, providing accurate information, and working closely with stakeholders to facilitate effective workplace-based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work.The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on mediating and facilitating reconciliation between parties, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct community-based visits to worksites or medical case conferences within the first few days of incident notification.
  • Provide clear and concise information about claims entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities.
  • Work collaboratively with workers, employers, and treatment providers to assist them navigate the process of a workers compensation claim.
  • Measure, monitor, and review the effectiveness of early intervention involvement.
Requirements:
  • Current Driver's License (mandatory)
  • At least 5 years demonstrated experience in the co-ordination and facilitation of early intervention practices
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or related field
  • Qualification aligned to Occupational Rehabilitation Psychology Case Management or Mediation
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Experience working within the workers compensation industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
