Early Childhood Intervention Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to changing the lives of children with disabilities and their families.


We are seeking an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to deliver interventions that lead to positive, life-changing outcomes for NDIS participants aged 0-8 and their families. This role will involve working in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds and community centers.


To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of early childhood development, as well as excellent communication and assessment skills. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and social workers, to provide holistic support to children and their families.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and be a team player
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • A valid Australian drivers license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans for NDIS participants
  • Delivering interventions in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support to children and their families
  • Documenting and billing for sessions through our online participant management system
  • Providing support for children and their families before and after school
