Midwifery Career Advancement Opportunity

Selection Criteria
  • Current Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) is essential.
  • Registered Nurses with minimum 1 year full-time experience in an acute care setting are required.
  • Concurrent enrollment in a Diploma of Midwifery University program at UTS or WSU is mandatory.
  • The ability to undertake Part-Time employment of FTE 0.84, 8, and 12 hour shifts on a 7-day rotating roster is necessary.
  • Understanding of the role of a midwife within a primary healthcare framework is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability in clinical problem-solving is expected.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Understanding of, and ability to work within, a team is essential.
