Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of full-time experience in an acute care setting
  • Concurrent enrollment in a Diploma of Midwifery University program at UTS or WSU
  • Ability to commit to part-time employment with a minimum FTE of 0.84, working varying shift patterns on a 7-day rotating roster
  • Understanding of the role of a midwife within a primary healthcare framework
  • Demonstrated ability in clinical problem-solving
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
