To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Current Nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an acute care setting
  • Concurrent enrollment in a Diploma of Midwifery University program at UTS or WSU
  • Ability to undertake part-time employment on a 7-day rotating roster, FTE 0.84, 8 and 12-hour shifts
  • Understanding of the midwife's role within a primary healthcare framework
  • Proven ability in clinical problem-solving
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Capacity to work effectively as part of a team
