Program Coordinator Position Summary

  • The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of compliance programs within the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Compliance Programs

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring program outcomes and reporting to senior management. This includes analyzing compliance trends in the context of associated Acts and Regulations.

Additionally, you will develop program proposals, including risk assessment and intervention/mitigation strategies, for endorsement by the Legal Metrology Branch Management Committee.

You will also manage and support delivery of services under Memoranda of Understanding with other Commonwealth agencies.

Collaboration and Communication

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and operationalize compliance programs. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.

Moreover, you will lead by example, upholding professional values such as teamwork and continuous improvement, and responding to breaches of values when necessary.
