Employment Tax Specialist

The role of an Employment Tax Specialist is to provide expertise and guidance on all aspects of employment tax, including Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging.

This involves leading and inspiring junior staff across the country, managing large, multi-stakeholder projects, and serving as the key client contact. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering employment tax compliance and consulting services to large multinational organizations, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess technical and analytical proficiency, as well as effective and flexible work style. You should be able to use technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, and deliver impactful training seminars to both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide employment tax expertise to clients, including advice on Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging.
  • Lead and inspire junior staff across the country, managing large, multi-stakeholder projects and serving as the key client contact.
  • Use technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, and deliver impactful training seminars to both clients and internal teams.
Requirements:

You will need to have over 5 years of experience in delivering employment tax compliance and consulting services to large multinational organizations, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service. You should also possess technical and analytical proficiency, as well as effective and flexible work style.
