
Job Opportunity for Experienced Scheduler

We are seeking a seasoned Project Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will be an expert in developing and maintaining accurate project schedules, with 7-15 years of experience in scheduling.
- Main Responsibilities:
- • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
- • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- • Perform critical path analysis and scenario planning.
- • Track progress, identify delays, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- • Prepare reports that support project end users, project management, and the executive, including milestone and variance tracking, earned value analysis, forecasting, and cash flow.
- • Facilitate workshops for schedule development/update and recovery.
- • Integrate with the project team, including project/construction management, contracts/commercial, project controls, stakeholders, and approvals.
- • Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- • Preferably use Power BI for advanced reporting and visualization.
- Key Qualifications:
- • 7-15 years of experience in scheduling.
- • Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- • Expertise in Excel.
- • Preferably experience with Power BI and reporting.
- • Preferably experience in preparing and running Schedule Risk Assessments.
- • Preferably experience in project management software, such as InEight.
- • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- • Experience in mining, energy, water, or infrastructure projects.
