About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at ING Australia. As a key member of our Compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd Line Compliance Assurance support, reviewing and assessing the effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Lead and perform second-line quality assurance reviews on various compliance topics, including KYC, Data Privacy, and Conduct Compliance.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to present findings, identify and track improvement actions, and support key deliverables across the Monitoring team.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and industry code obligations as they relate to ING.
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years' financial services experience, with a focus on risk management, compliance, assurance, and/or audit.
  • Relevant knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory, and industry code obligations.
  • Ability to articulate and write clear and factually correct review reports.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research, interpret, and assess compliance with applicable obligations.
