Job Description

The Senior Proposal Engineer develops technical and commercial proposals for customised Solutions and Services offerings tailored to customer needs.

\
  • You will support business growth and strategic projects by delivering compliant, high-quality proposals.
  • As a subject matter expert, the Senior Proposal Engineer collaborates with Sales teams across the region to explain the value of portfolio solutions.

Key Responsibilities

\
  1. Lead proposal development and execution for Industrial Automation, Networks, and cybersecurity Services.
  2. Ensure proposals meet defined margin and compliance requirements.
  3. Deliver accurate, professional proposals within expected timeframes.
\

Collaboration & Communication

\
  • Work with Solution Consultants, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, Commercial & Negotiation (C&N), Finance, and Credit Management teams.
  • Be a primary contact for Sales and Teams during the proposal phase.
  • Address customer queries and provide technical clarifications.
\

Solution Design & Cost Estimation

\
  • Design solutions aligned with client specifications and industry best practices.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates considering materials, labour, and project-related expenses.
\

Required Skills & Qualifications

\
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Preferably in a network-related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in proposal/project engineering within industrial automation.
  • Technical knowledge of automation technologies (PLCs, DCS, drives).
