Customer Advisor Job Description

As a Customer Advisor, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for Allianz. Your key responsibility is to provide expert advice and support to claims staff, helping them develop technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical referral point for claims staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
  • Offer technical advice and escalate disputes to senior teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing potential risks.
  • Identify trends through technical complaints escalation handling to drive improvement in customer and business outcomes.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Framework by delivering training needs at an individual and team level.
  • Manage a portfolio of claims, influencing cost outcomes through commercial decision-making.
  • Adhere to the General Insurance Code of Practice and timeframes when supporting the management of GI Claims.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Allianz business.
  • Support the delivery and execution of Group TEX frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in complex general insurance claims assessment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated coaching and developing skills in claims teams.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage competing demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with empathy and commercial acumen.
  • A passion for emerging technologies and digital innovation.
