We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager to join our team in Cootamundra. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing traffic management functions for a large-scale rail project in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
About the Role
- This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, transforming the way goods are moved around Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic management plans in line with relevant requirements and standards.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and attendance at meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve traffic-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Manage costs, approvals, and team workflow effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic installations, road safety audits, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- An engineering degree or relevant industry experience.
- At least 10 years' experience in construction, preferably as a Traffic Manager or Engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of NSW-based legislation, regulations, and guidelines applicable to worksite traffic management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A strong ability to manage budgets, costs, and risks.
