Data Centre Design Lead

This senior leadership role requires a high degree of technical expertise and a collaborative approach to driving multidisciplinary design strategies.
About the Role:The Design Director will be responsible for developing and executing MEP design strategies across Australia, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence in data centre projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of MEP design for new and existing data centre developments, managing teams and external engineering partners to achieve project goals.
- Ensure technical authority, reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local Australian codes and standards.
- Contribute to project planning, cost control, and risk management, fostering collaboration between stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, with extensive experience leading multidisciplinary design within mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex MEP design processes from concept through delivery, with strong knowledge of local Australian codes and standards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills with influence at all levels, a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and driving engineering excellence.
