Data Centre Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Design Manager to lead the multidisciplinary MEP design strategy and execution for data centre projects across Australia.
Main Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of MEP design for new and existing data centre developments, ensuring compliance with local Australian codes and standards.
- Oversee a team of design managers, consultants, and external engineering partners, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Act as the technical authority, reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes.
- Provide strategic input into project planning, cost control, and risk management, enabling informed decision-making.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, with a strong foundation in theoretical principles and practical applications.
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary design within mission-critical or data centre environments, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
- Proven ability to manage complex MEP design processes, from concept through delivery, leveraging skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Strong knowledge of local Australian codes and standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- A passion for driving engineering excellence, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
