Job Opportunity: Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor

Konekt has an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of those who have sustained psychological injuries at work or may be facing personal challenges at home or in the community.

  • You will use your clinical expertise and skills to support your clients' journey as they return to work and life through Insurance Schemes, Employment Services and Disability Employment Services.
  • You will minimise the impact of injuries, illness and disability through delivery of prevention, rehabilitation, and training services.
  • You will provide brief evidence based interventions and counselling to job seekers and injured workers to improve mental health and wellbeing, and promote recovery.
  • You will undertake a range of vocational and psychological assessments to assist in determining vocational needs, psychological capabilities and overall functioning to inform and support return to work facilitation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration with AHPRA and ASORC.
  • A current Working with Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
