Join us in our search for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Technical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver and support ICT projects/programs across ServiceNow environments, developing and maintaining ServiceNow platforms and solutions in line with Agile delivery methods.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development team, setting priorities, and driving high performance. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining user stories and delivery plans, performing ServiceNow coding in JavaScript and configuration using Flow Designer, UI Builder, and Business Rules, designing, developing, testing, and implementing integrations and enhancements, rapidly resolving issues in fielded and developing ServiceNow applications, recommending and implementing new ServiceNow features and improvements, collaborating with vendors and business stakeholders to mitigate risks and remove blockers, and operating within Agile teams and delivering to standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven ability to take ownership of solution design and development, lead a team delivering Agile-based development on time and on budget, act as the conduit between business and technical teams across SDLC, design, develop and maintain custom ServiceNow apps and integrations, utilize ServiceNow functionality such as Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal widgets, and Configurable Workspaces, communicate complex technical concepts in plain English, manage quality delivery under time constraints and shifting priorities, and use agile tooling such as Azure DevOps or ServiceNow agile module.
  2. Tertiary qualifications or recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field, industry recognised ServiceNow certifications (CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM), knowledge of IT frameworks (e.g. ITIL), experience delivering large-scale ICT programs in a Commonwealth Government context, familiarity with ServiceNow UI Builder, Configurable Workspaces, and frontend technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS).
