Contract Management Professional

This permanent role provides support for contract management across mining operations.

The ideal candidate will be a service-driven professional with a successful track record in contract development and administration.

Key responsibilities include managing contractual relationships, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value-adding, leading negotiations, and developing and ongoing management of key spend categories.

Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Law or related discipline are required. 3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, resources and/or construction industries is also necessary.

  • Managing Contractual Relationships: Manage contractual relationships and performance outcomes between contractors.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Identify and create opportunities for cost reduction and value-adding in all agreements entered into on behalf of the company.
  • Negotiation and Contract Development: Lead negotiations and provide input into the development, implementation and management of contracts.
  • Category Management: Develop and ongoing manage key spend categories within an assigned contract portfolio per company policies/procedures.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Liaise with key stakeholders to review and develop category management strategies.
