Job Title: Contract Management Specialist
The Public Sector is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Management Specialist to oversee the administration of contracts, ensuring procurement compliance, risk management, and value for money in accordance with WA Government policies and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and administer contracts in line with government policies and procedures
Coordinate procurement activities, maintaining accurate records and reports
Monitor contractor performance, ensuring contract milestones are achieved and risks are mitigated
Provide advice and support to stakeholders on contract and procurement matters
- Demonstrated experience in contract or procurement administration, preferably within a government or infrastructure environment
- Understanding of the WA public sector procurement framework and relevant legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High-level time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools/systems
- WA Government background or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in contract administration or procurement, ideally within a government or infrastructure environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using contract management or procurement systems
