We are seeking an experienced and visionary Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Emergency Department team.
- Leads a multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality patient care.
- Develops and implements strategies to improve nursing practice, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated nurse leader to contribute to the success of our department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the emergency department, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
- Supervise and develop a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols that promote best practices in patient care and service excellence.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration and extensive experience in emergency nursing.
- Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or management would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
