Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources expert to join our team as a trusted advisor for business-critical decisions.

  • This role will require you to develop and strengthen your industrial relations skills to drive transformative projects across the business.

About the Role:

This position involves providing high-level HR expertise to operations teams in Sydney, Australia, while collaborating with a national team of HR professionals to ensure consistency and best practice delivery at all levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support employee relations matters and provide HR excellence on key issues
  • Assist key people initiatives, projects, and daily business activities
  • Maintain and enhance HR knowledge and understanding of relevant principles, processes, tools, and best practices
  • Provide proactive employee relations advice and become a true partner of the business
  • Build lasting stakeholder relationships with key departments across the organization
  • Collaborate with the national HR team to provide a unified HR support structure

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' human resources experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience operating in a complex industrial environment
  • Experience working with unions on people matters is mandatory
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments
