About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Professional to join our team as a Senior Workforce Consultant. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with multiple services, managing change, and negotiating with key stakeholders.

The successful applicant will be able to manage competing priorities, influence others, and find solutions. They will work closely with a dynamic and highly skilled team who strive for excellence in their work.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing expert strategic and tactical human resources consultancy and support to designated portfolios. This includes coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR solutions that align with business objectives.

The Senior Workforce Consultant promotes best-practice HR and people management to achieve organisational success and maximise the effectiveness of the organisation's workforce.

Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Employee Relations, Organisational Psychology or associated field, or extensive work experience.
  • A proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies and best practice to provide sound advice and resolve complex workforce issues.
  • An ability to build and maintain credible relationships at senior levels and with other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a business partnering environment with broad knowledge and experience of contemporary and generalist human resource practices.
