Risk Management Specialist

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Assurance group, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving the design and operation of business processes, systems, procedures, and controls.

 

  • Review and improve the design and operation of business processes, systems, procedures, and controls to meet financial and regulatory reporting requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze, document, and test internal controls and control environments.
  • Anticipate and identify current and emerging risks and raise issues with line management.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Manage large project engagements end-to-end, from planning and budgeting through to final reporting.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in internal controls and assurance.
  • Strong technical skills in controls, risk, and governance.
  • Knowledge of Australian control reporting standards such as GS007, ASAE 3402, or their international equivalents (ISAE 3402, SOC 1, SSAE, AAF etc).
