**Job Title:** Community Grants Funding SpecialistThe department's mission is to improve the wellbeing of individuals and families in Australian communities. To achieve this, we administer community-based grants on behalf of various government departments.Our Health Grants Branch manages a portfolio of grant programs that work to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians. These programs aim to deliver long-term benefits for future generations.

As a Community Grants Funding Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, administering, and conducting grants. You will also gather and analyse evidence to assess funding recipient performance and identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.

  • Conduct high-quality administration of funding agreement performance assurance activities, particularly those with moderate to high complexity.
  • Gather and analyse evidence to assess funding recipient performance against program aims.
  • Support performance assurance by identifying opportunities, gaps, risks, and issues and supporting the implementation of appropriate strategies.
  • Identify and contribute to the development of improvement opportunities to help achieve policy, program, and process improvements.
  • Develop relationships with funding recipients to support productive partnerships that deliver performance outcomes.
