Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Community Development initiatives across multiple locations. As a Community Development Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and managing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to remote communities.

About You:

  • You possess relevant experience and qualifications in Community Development or human services
  • You have strong communication skills and senior management advisory experience
  • You have proven ability to manage budgets and have experience with federal funded programs advantageous
  • You are dedicated to maintaining a robust health and safety framework and ethical integrity in Community Development service delivery

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of vital services to First Nations people. As a Community Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve program goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, manage and develop a team of Community Development professionals across multiple locations
  2. Meet program delivery guidelines and reporting requirements to government agencies
  3. Support and manage community-based programs and finances
  4. Collaborate with participants and community for support strategies and timely responses

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and qualifications in Community Development or human services
  • Strong communication skills and senior management advisory experience
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and have experience with federal funded programs advantageous
  • Dedication to maintaining a robust health and safety framework and ethical integrity in Community Development service delivery

Location: Darwin Support Office, with travel required to remote Indigenous Communities
