You will be maintaining and repairing a range of heavy mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi. Your tasks will include diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults and carrying out repairs, performing routine servicing and breakdown maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly, collaborating with the site team to ensure safe, efficient operations, and assisting with the mobilisation and setup of a large fleet of machinery.

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will enjoy a family-friendly 7/7 even-time roster with flexible FIFO or DIDO options, earn competitive pay plus super, receive retention bonuses and generous allowances every 6 months, stay comfortably with on-site camp accommodation provided, and take advantage of clear pathways to progress into leadership and supervisory roles.

We are looking for qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters or Plant Mechanics with proven trade credentials, skilled in working on major surface mining gear like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr. The ideal candidate will be safety-driven with a collaborative approach to teamwork, reliable, motivated, and ready to contribute their best every day.
