We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics:
    • Perform routine maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy machinery including haul trucks, scrapers, excavators, dozers, loaders and other equipment
    • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting, with a focus on quality workmanship
    • Accurately complete job cards and service reports using computerized systems
  • Automatic Electricians:
    • Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems on heavy mobile equipment
    • Troubleshoot complex faults on machine monitoring systems, engine and transmission management systems, and HV/LV electrical circuits
    • Install, test and commission new electrical systems and components
    • Work closely with mechanical fitters to ensure seamless repairs and high machine availability
Requirements:
  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification as either a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or an Auto Electrician
  • Proven post-trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • An unwavering commitment to safety, with a proactive mindset
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Certainly, Coal Board medical and S11 are desired
