Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Auto Electrician to join our high-performing maintenance team. If you have a passion for maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment, we want to hear from you.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy mining equipment, including Haul Trucks, Scrapers, Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, and other mine equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of the equipment
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component changes/rebuilds (engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulics) to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and reports in our computerized maintenance management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification as either a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Auto Electrician
- Proven post-trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment, preferably within a mining or heavy industry environment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current Driver's Licence
