Our organisation is seeking a dedicated professional to provide support to children, young people, foster and kinship carers, and families. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

The Support Worker will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, client-focused care, including risk assessments and direct support. They will collaborate with carers to develop support plans, identify training needs, and provide ongoing guidance. Additionally, they will partner with community agencies to foster professional networks and enhance service delivery.

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised support services to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Develop and implement effective support plans, incorporating identified strengths and needs
  • Cultivate strong relationships with carers, families, and community stakeholders to promote positive outcomes
  • Prioritise client safety and well-being, responding promptly to emerging issues or concerns

To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant qualifications and experience in child protection or community services. A Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention, Certificate III in Community Services, or equivalent qualifications and experience are highly regarded. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
