Mondelēz International is seeking a skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to deliver regulatory affairs strategy and compliance agenda, assess business risks and opportunities, and provide expertise on technical regulatory developments. You will ensure that ingredients, product composition, claims, and labeling comply with applicable regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regulatory affairs strategies to ensure compliance with international and multi-functional environments.
  • Provide regulatory affairs expertise for technical regulatory developments and respond to challenges and crisis management.
  • Ensure that products meet applicable regulations and company policies regarding ingredients, product composition, claims, and labeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess business risks and opportunities.
  • Support regulatory impact assessments and change management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory, science, and nutrition risks and opportunities in the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields with food law dedication.
  • At least [Salary] per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and superannuation.
  • Temporary (Fixed Term) contract for 1 year.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, reliability, accuracy, project management, and handling complexity.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, report writing and presentation skills, and ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Continuous improvement and change culture behavior, including change management skills.
