About the team

Our Risk & Compliance team is a trusted advisor to the business, providing practical and commercial advice when it's needed most. We're currently searching for a Compliance Specialist to join our team to provide project support and partner with business on compliance and governance matters.


About the role

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for implementing regulatory and compliance frameworks across our Merchandise teams, providing regulatory and compliance advice and support, and continuing education to key stakeholders on legislative requirements.


You'll also-


• Participate in key Merchandise initiatives to identify and mitigate business risks.


• Provide commercially focused advice at all times.


• Improve systems and processes to alleviate risk and enhance compliance reporting and insights.


• Manage key stakeholder relationships through clear communication.


• Provide consistent reports on all compliance matters.


• Support business projects and initiatives with merchandise compliance expertise.


• Update merchandise compliance manuals and job aids as required.


About you and your skills


• Experience working in complex Compliance/Risk environments, preferably in the Retail/Consumer sectors.


• Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and attention to detail.


• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve while navigating complex projects.


• A sound knowledge of compliance and governance regulations to provide high-level advice.


• Ability to interpret legislation and policy regulations.


• Participate in projects to ensure appropriate procedures and controls are in place to comply with new legislation.
