Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We are a dynamic occupational therapy and physiotherapy clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to children, teens, and young adults. Our team of 14 therapists is passionate about delivering a great therapy service and creating a supportive environment for our staff.
About You :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current Drivers License and own transport for client visits
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate for emergency situations
- National Police Check for working with vulnerable populations
Position Summary :
As a paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering goal-directed and evidence-based therapy to a diverse range of children, teens, and young adults. You will work closely with our team to provide holistic therapy programs and contribute to the growth and development of our clinic.

Job Responsibility :
- Deliver occupational therapy services following the guidelines of Optimum Movement
- Administer occupational therapy assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, under supervision as required
- Complete goal setting for every client and track progress
- Monitor, evaluate, and review therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Develop resources to support therapy programs and contribute to the growth of our clinic
- Undertake professional development, including self-reflection and continuous learning
- Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs
- Commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
- Adopt and embody the values and philosophy of Optimum Movement
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Commitment to working as an effective team member and promoting a positive work culture
- Promote the company and its interests to the local and wider community
- Ensure all communication is professional, polite, and respectful to all stakeholders
