Our team of 14 experienced therapists operates clinics in Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast, committed to delivering outstanding care and support. To achieve this, we're looking for a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current drivers license and own transport for clinic visits
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate for emergency situations
- National Police Check for background clearance
Position Summary:
We're seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessment and therapy services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering evidence-based therapy programs that cater to diverse therapy needs and goals.
Key Requirements:
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Effective written and spoken communication skills
- Attention to detail in therapy planning and execution
- Professional communication style with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in our company's practice management software
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
- Will to follow direction and take initiative in therapy delivery
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and implement occupational therapy services according to Optimum Movement guidelines
- Administer occupational therapy assessments, develop therapy plans, and monitor client progress
- Set clear goals for each client, linking them to clinical notes
- Review and revise therapy plans as needed
- Develop resources to support therapy programs
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including self-reflection and research
- Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs
- Commit to meeting client and organisational expectations
- Adopt and embody Optimum Movement's values and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
