System Analyst Role

We seek a skilled System Analyst to support enterprise applications.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work with critical applications and contribute to lasting changes in cities and communities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Resolve application-related incidents and problems according to SLA guidelines
  • Restore Application Service promptly, maintaining close communications with stakeholders
  • Monitor application availability, performance, and throughput
  • Identify opportunities to improve service monitoring
  • Contribute to IT Operations processes, procedures, standards, and application documentation
  • Implement efficiency gains and application availability improvements
  • Perform on-call duties on a rostered basis
  • Contribute to lifecycle management initiatives such as application upgrades/decommissioning, security patching, certificate renewals/key rotation
  • Uplift business functionality of Maximo application through asset management initiatives
Requirements
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualise complex IT systems
  • Experience with Maximo asset management product
  • Broad knowledge of application systems, operating systems, and cloud services
  • Success in comparable positions supporting applications at enterprise level
  • ITIL Certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow/Jira
  • Ability to define processes and document procedures
  • An accomplished communicator at all levels and across mediums
  • Approachable, with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
  • Experience logging, tracking, and escalating incidents
  • Computer Science or related tertiary degree
