Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Professional. In this role, you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to provide expert support and guidance in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management and support to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological.
  • Work collaboratively with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews to identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment and support clients in achieving their goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, empathy, and kindness when interacting with clients.
