As a senior strategic leader, you will lead the development and implementation of essential economic and fiscal policy frameworks, oversee commercial transactions, and provide strategic direction to key divisions.

This is a unique opportunity to influence Queensland's economic future and deliver on government priorities. To be successful, you will need to provide authoritative advice, analysis, and guidance to senior stakeholders on Queensland's economic and fiscal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex economic and fiscal policy frameworks
  • Lead high-value commercial projects and transactions
  • Provide strategic direction to key divisions
  • Deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Represent Queensland Treasury in high-level negotiations and consultations

What We Are Looking For:

  • A proven record of success as a leader in a large and complex organisation
  • Expertise in developing and implementing complex economic and fiscal policy frameworks
  • Strong ability to create innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Extensive experience in delivering significant and complex transactions, infrastructure, and commercial projects
  • High-level political acumen and ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively
