About the Role

The Executive Director of Early Learning and Childcare Operations will play a critical role in driving the overall success and sustainability of our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly impactful early learning and childcare provider in an influential leadership capacity, with clear impact on the success of the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our early learning and childcare operations, partnering closely with our Board of Directors to define strategic goals and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality service delivery across all centres, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Lead the development and management of budgets to ensure financial sustainability, profitability and operational efficiency through effective planning, cost control and resource allocation.
  • Foster a positive organisational culture that aligns with our values, emphasising collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Represent our organisation in engaging with investors, government agencies, industry associations, and the broader community to enhance brand and market presence.
About You

We are seeking an established and entrepreneurial executive leader with a demonstrated commitment to early learning and childcare outcomes. The successful candidate will have:

  • A significant experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role ideally within the childcare, education, or related human services sectors.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries; prior ASX executive experience will be highly regarded.
  • A proven track record in managing complex operations and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Commercial nous and a robust understanding of M&A, financial management, budgeting and business sustainability.
  • Strong people leadership skills, bringing strengths in supporting geographically dispersed teams through significant change.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to drive consensus and collaboration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is desirable.
What's On Offer

This is a competitive salary package, including performance-based incentives, with an estimated salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
