Job Title: Personalised Behavioural Support Specialist

\

The Successful Candidate Will Be Given The Opportunity To Participate In Improving Other People's Lives By Delivering Person-centred Services, Working With A Range Of Clients (across The Age Span) With Various Needs.

\

This Will Involve Providing Behavioural Support For Individuals With Complex Disability And Psycho-social Support Needs; Complex Mental Health Issues; And Trauma Based Presentations;

\

Conducting Assessments Of Client's Presenting Issues And Support Needs, And Identifying Appropriate Supports, Interventions And Service Models;

\

Designing, Developing And Implementing Intervention Plans And Strategies;

\

Facilitating The Delivery Of Clinical Frameworks And Activities;

\

Providing Client Support Including Clinic Or Home-based Sessions, Training And Resource Development;

\

Working With A Multidisciplinary Team To Optimise Outcomes.

\

The Position Will Be Based In Pennant Hills And May Involve Travel For Specific Work Around The Sydney Metro Area.

\

There Is Also An Option To Work From Home For Administration/Report Writing.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Behavioural Support To Individuals With Complex Needs;
  • Conduct Assessments And Develop Intervention Plans;
  • Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team;
  • Provide Training And Resource Development;
  • Facilitate The Delivery Of Clinical Frameworks And Activities;

Requirements:

\
  • Tertiary Qualification In Psychology Or A Related Discipline Relevant To The Field Of Behavioural Support;
  • Experience Providing Direct Behavioural Support And Registration As A Behavioural Support Practitioner;
  • Experience Working With Individuals With Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health Issues And/or Experiences Of Trauma Who Have Complex Needs;
  • Experience Providing Clinical And/Or Behavioural Assessment, Intervention And Support In The Disability Sector;
