Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled bid writer who wants to take on a leadership role and contribute to creating standout bids.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Melbourne bids team, providing leadership, mentoring and support, and working closely with other teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements in the proposal management process.

You will be engaged in writing, managing and coordinating bids, tender reporting and assisting with marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Writing and creation of competitive bids and proposals within branding and business guidelines.
  • Project management including collation and coordination of all information required from various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Updating of bids and proposal information in software systems, including data input for tracking, reporting and forecasting.
  • Maintenance and growth of the bids library, including creation and management of CVs, project profiles and other bids content.
  • Assistance with Business Development collateral, including presentations and capability statements.
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, a naturally talented writer, with the ability to understand and write to bid criteria.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Significant experience writing and coordinating bids for government, institutional and private sector clients.
  • Highly organised with great time management skills and very high attention to detail.
  • Experience in or ready to take the next step into a leadership role, demonstrating integrity, ownership and positivity.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate and work effectively with people nationally.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, especially in your team and at all levels.
  • Experience in the Built Environment, Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering, Architecture or associated fields highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Word & PowerPoint essential, InDesign & Adobe suite experience highly regarded.
