About the Role

CPB Contractors Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the New Bundaberg Hospital project team. As the lead HR representative for the project, you will be responsible for providing generalist HR/IR support to the project team, advising and coaching managers on contemporary HR/IR practices, and initiating and driving HR initiatives to support client groups through periods of organisational change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR/IR support to the project team, including advice and coaching to managers on HR/IR practices.
  • Initiate and drive HR initiatives to support client groups through periods of organisational change.
  • Manage project-based initiatives to attract, retain and grow the talented team.
  • Support leaders to ensure participation in performance management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary HR qualification or similar discipline.
  • Relevant Legislation knowledge and experience interpreting employment contracts, awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Proven negotiation skills and be solutions orientated.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in managing employee grievances and workplace investigations.
