Job Summary:

The Business Support and System Oversight Manager is responsible for leading the work unit, managing staff and resources to achieve business improvement and strategic outcomes. This role provides leadership to the team, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consultation with business areas using the DACMS system and analyze evolving operational needs.
  • Provide strategic oversight to the system enhancement process, including documentation of business requirements, validation and needs assessment.
  • Implement principles of sound governance to assess and prioritize system enhancement requests, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage high-level advice, correspondences and business cases to support informed decision making about system and process changes.
  • Provide advice regarding emerging issues, critical paths, project linkages and strategic opportunities and challenges.
  • Lead consultation with operational teams to assist with understanding and analyzing business requirements, mapping dependencies and providing recommendations.
  • Lead consultation with governance groups to facilitate decisions on changes to business processes.
  • Manage the management of monitoring and evaluation of the resolution of issues and deployment of enhancements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and promoting a change positive approach.
  • Develop continuous improvement mechanisms to encourage innovation in the delivery of high-quality services and pursue opportunities for optimization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and systems development.
