Field Operations Manager

Job Summary
">We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our field workforce and sub-contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely managing performance, planning, execution, and closing activities necessary to successfully build, maintain, and decommission networks.
">About the Role
">This position entails leading a team of professionals, carrying out pre-works/scoping activities, including design and constructability reviews, pre-work coordination with third parties, and site inspections to identify start conditions, scope changes, and constructability issues.
">The ideal candidate will coordinate all activities, ensuring that everyone undertaking work has the correct training and valid licenses. They will also support the works management system, ensure all maintenance activities are completed, and participate in toolbox meetings.
">About You
">We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a strong safety culture, holds a current driver's license, construction OH&S induction card, MR or higher truck license, VOC to operate an EWP, proven experience in the telecommunications industry, knowledge of aerial ADSS construction and maintenance, qualified electrical linesperson, installation and removal of MEN earthing and power supply unit on Optus aerial network.
">The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency, and ability to work autonomously within teams.
">Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and review of SWMS">
- Ensure all work is completed to required specifications, standards, and within required time frames">
- Participate in actual site start-up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)">
- Work in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council, & transport)">
