Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Field Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of services on various works programs.

This is a field-based supervisory position that involves interacting with stakeholders for the safe and timely completion of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of field staff and sub-contractors to deliver works programs.
  • Perform site scoping activities and confirm customer designs are workable.
  • Provide assistance to the scheduling team by matching resources to work requirements.
  • Offer technical support and training to internal staff and sub-contractor resources.
  • Ensure all field work meets high standards and adheres to relevant OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients and their customers to manage network and plant assets effectively.
  • Make arrangements with Public Authorities for provision of services and working in public areas.
  • Assist technicians in completing works at site using HFC skills as needed.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualifications in copper, fibre or HFC fields.
  • 5 years' experience in the Telecommunications industry.
  • Flexibility in adapting to technologies such as Copper and Fibre designs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear instructions.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility and motivation.
  • Organisation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate laptops, tablets or field mobility devices.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
