About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ITS Engineer to join our Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance project team. This is a great opportunity for career progression in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering concepts to Intelligent Transport Systems, technical standards, and analytics that meet project requirements.
- Understand project scope and develop solutions within defined technical and budget constraints.
- Manage construction planning, prepare accurate reporting, and implement mitigation measures as needed.
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of work progress.
- Support site construction crews with work package development and communication.
- Assist with technical queries.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering with industry experience in roads, tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance, construction, testing, and commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems.
- 'Hands-on' experience with ITS systems (building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
