About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SE/PE ITS Systems Specialist to join our Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance team in Victoria. This role offers a strong pipeline for career progression and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply engineering concepts and practices to design technical ITS solutions, including ITS architecture and technical standards, to meet project needs.
- Develop solutions within defined technical and budget constraints, ensuring effective project delivery.
- Manage short- and long-term construction planning for works, preparing accurate reporting and mitigation measures as required.
- Participate in market engagement, procurement, subcontract, and supplier management throughout the delivery process.
- Complete daily site diaries and progress photographs for areas of work.
About You
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering with industry experience in roads, tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more fields of maintenance, design, construction, testing, and commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems.
- Hands-on experience with ITS systems, including building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading them.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets, including their design and functionality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
