About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer - ITS to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the biggest ever investment in Melbourne's North East.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onsite delivery of ITS solutions, including ITS architecture, VMS Gantry Installations, Lighting, and integrating technical standards and analytics that meet the project's needs.
  • Provide project engineering support to the construction teams to facilitate the construction process.
  • Monitor and report on work progress.
  • Directly interface with the construction crews to collect data on information required for project status, cost reporting, and forecasting.
  • Support the site construction crews with developing and communicating work packages.
  • Assist with technical queries.
  • Provide direction and supervision for Site & Project Engineers, as required.
About You
  • A degree qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering with industry experience in roads, tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
  • 'Hands-on' experience with ITS systems (building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
