About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ITS Engineer to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance project. As an ITS Engineer, you will be responsible for applying engineering concepts to ITS, technical standards, and analytics to meet the project's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions within defined technical and budget constraints.
  • Manage short- and long-term construction planning for works and prepare accurate reporting and mitigation measures where required.
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting of work progress.
  • Support site construction crews with developing and communicating work packages.
  • Assist with technical queries.

About You

  • A degree qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering with industry experience in roads/tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the fields of maintenance, construction, testing & commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems.
  • 'Hands-on' experience with ITS systems (building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
