Electromagnetic Effects Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Effects Engineer to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic effects testing at our facility in Wacol and participating in RF Design and Systems Engineering work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct test and verification of EMI/EMC customer requirements across multiple defence programs and commercial customers
- Develop Test Procedures and Test Reports
- Advise customers on EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation mechanisms to assure compatibility and safety of new and existing systems and interfaces
- Conduct EMI/EMC testing of hardware and software systems in both lab and in field environments to verify adherence to MIL-STD-461/464
- Perform HIRF/Lightning, RF COSITE, Antenna Coupling & RADHAZ analysis and test
Requirements
- Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline
- 2+ years experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations
- Desirable previous experience with MIL-STD-461/464
- Previous EMI/EMC test experience in a lab environment
