Electromagnetic Effects/Communication and RF Specialist

About the Role
Boeing is seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Effects/Communication and RF Technician to join our team at the Boeing Test Facility in Wacol. As a key member of our engineering team, you will conduct electromagnetic effects testing and verification of EMI/EMC customer requirements across multiple defence programs and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct test and verification of EMI/EMC customer requirements across multiple defence programs and commercial customers
- Develop Test Procedures and Test Reports
- Advise customers on EMI/EMC analysis and mitigation mechanisms to assure compatibility and safety of new and existing systems and interfaces
- Conduct EMI/EMC testing of hardware and software systems in both lab and in field environments to verify adherence to MIL-STD-461/464
- Perform HIRF/Lightning, RF COSITE, Antenna Coupling & RADHAZ analysis and test
- Contribute to the open, inclusive and innovative team culture
- Domestic travel may be required
Requirements
- Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline
- 2+ years experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards and regulations
- Desirable previous experience with MIL-STD-461/464
- Previous EMI/EMC test experience in a lab environment
